The WSIS Forum 2022 started from 15 March onwards in a virtual format with the final week being held physically with enhanced remote participation from 30 May to 3 June 2022 at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
The WSIS Forum provided structured opportunities to network, learn and participate in multi-stakeholder discussions and consultations on WSIS implementation.
On 31 May, 8:40-9:40 UTC, Constance Bommelaer de Leusse, our Vice President of Institutional Relations and Empowerment participated at High-level Strategic Dialogue with Partners on ICTs for Well-Being, Inclusion, and Resilience: WSIS Cooperation for Accelerating Progress on the SDGs.
On 1 June 2022, 09:00-10:00 UTC, Rinalia Abdul Rahim, our Senior Vice President, Strategy, Communications, and Engagement, was speaking at High-Level Policy Session on Cultural Diversity and Identity, Linguistic Diversity and Local Content/Ethical Dimensions of Information and Knowledge Societies/Media/ICTs and Gender Mainstreaming.
On 3 June, 09:00-10:45 UTC, Rinalia was a panelist at IGF Outreach Session during WSIS Forum. This session brought together past and current IGF hosts and other experts from all stakeholder groups to discuss expectations from the IGF. It also described how people can follow and join IGF discussions.
