The Internet Society invites all attendees to its panel discussion on “Examining the Role of Regulators & Governments in boosting connectivity across Africa.”
The panel is discussing barriers to connectivity in Africa – with a particular focus on its landlocked countries. It will also look at how to encourage investment in things like infrastructure, challenges encountered by investors, infrastructure sharing between operators, solutions and national broadband development plans, and what’s standing in the way when it comes to local content development.
The panel is part of the 18th AfricaCom conference from 17-19 November 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa, where the African telecoms and Information technology industry is converging.
