Committing to the Principle of Openness

Global Multistakeholder Meeting on The Future of Internet Governance (“NETmundial”)

The Internet Society (ISOC) appreciates the opportunity to provide input for consideration by the participants in the Global Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of Internet Governance (“NETmundial”) that will be held 23 to 24 April in Sao Paulo. ISOC values this multistakeholder dialogue and the opportunity to provide written submissions to ensure the discussions in Sao Paulo are informed and constructive.

The Internet Society would like to submit this paper on “Committing to the Principle of Openness” as an official background paper to the 2014 NETmundial conference.

We hope this document will provide valuable background information to the discussions.
