UPDATE: The recording of the online dialogue is now available:
The 21st century world is highly interconnected and trust in the Internet is essential for modern society to function. Online privacy and cybersecurity are key to maintaining that trust, and strong encryption is an essential element of Internet security. However, many stakeholders disagree about the role that encryption should play. The outcome of today’s debates about encryption will have a tremendous impact on the future of the Internet and society. It is imperative that we address these differing views to find a solution that strengthens trust in the Internet.
We invite you to add your perspective! Please join the Internet Society, the Washington DC Chapter (ISOC-DC) and experts from around the world for an online dialogue about encryption and trust in the Internet.
