Our whole team is going to be in Vancouver next week for the 84th meeting of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
IETF meetings bring together nearly 1,200 engineers, computer scientists, and academicians who are in the forefront of developing standards for the continuing expansion and robustness of the Internet.
We’ll be participating in several IPv6- and DNSSEC-related working groups, and we also usually keep tabs on several of the working groups and BoFs highlighted in the Internet Society’s Rough Guide to IETF 84’s Hot Topics.
One of the new activities taking place at this IETF Meeting is the Bits-N-Bites social on Thursday, 2 August, at 7PM. Deploy360 will have a table there and we’d love to meet as many of you as possible. We’ll even have some stickers and swag available! (Plus, there will be drinks and snacks!)
As usual, the IETF 84 agenda offers a packed schedule and we’re looking forward to meeting up with people at the event. If you’d like to connect with us in Vancouver, please feel free to send us an email at [email protected], drop by Bits-N-Bites, or track us down onsite during the week.
See some of you there!
