ccTLD workshops
From 2004 to 2008, ISOC held technical training workshops for country code top level domain (ccTLD) operators in developing regions. The workshops, which are conducted as hands-on clinics in a computer lab environment, aim to provide the knowledge and skills ccTLD operators need to build up and maintain high quality infrastructure and services. ISOC organised the ccTLD workshop series in partnership with the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC). Read more about these workshops on our archived pages.
ccTLD Policy and Management Tutorials
In 2006, ISOC began working in partnership with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to deliver a series of ccTLD educational events focused on higher-level ccTLD policy and management topics, including best practices. The ccTLD tutorials are interactive seminars, with international experts and regional operators presenting on and discussing current ccTLD issues. The ccTLD tutorials are appropriate as a “stand alone” event for more technically advanced regions, or as supplemental information for regions still in need of hands-on technical training.
Support
Both the ccTLD Registry Workshop series and the ccTLD Policy and Management Tutorials are made possible by contributions from ISOC Members and the Public Interest Registry (PIR).
