Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2017

Background

The Africa Internet Summit (AIS) is the pinnacle multi-stakeholder event combining, workshops, conferences and networking for the internet Industry. The annual summit attracts every year internationally renowned Instructors, Experts and Speakers to share the latest innovations and best practices in the Internet industry.

Launched in Gambia in 2012, the Summit consists of seminars, workshops, tutorials, conference sessions, birds-of-a-feather (BOFs), and other forums for sharing ICT knowledge within the African region.

The Internet Society will be present in Nairobi, Kenya for the 2 weeks teaching, networking, discussing and shaping the future of ICT in Africa. At AIS 2017 the Internet Society will try and look amongst other at the opportunities of Securing the African Internet Infrastructure.
