The Internet Society is organizing the Ethiopia Peering Day on Friday, 24 January 2025, at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The event will bring together Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Content Providers (CPs), and other stakeholders in the telecommunications industry to discuss issues related to Internet interconnection and peering in Ethiopia and the subregion.
The event will also bring together peering and interconnection decision makers from Content Distribution Networks (CDNs), infrastructure providers, Internet service providers (ISPs), Internet exchange points (IXPs), mobile network operators (MNOs), large enterprise networks, policymakers, Internet enthusiasts, and regulators. The speakers will address issues pertaining to peering and interconnection best practices, current and latest trends, global challenges, and opportunities.
The event is in-person, with possibilities for remote live streaming.
