Organised by the European Commission in coordination with the European External Action Service and the Czech Presidency of the to the Council of the European Union, the event brought together representatives from the global multistakeholder community to promote the overarching European vision for the Internet and share solutions to implement the principles enshrined in the Declaration on the Future of the Internet (DFI). The DFI, supported by 60 partners from across the world, set out the vision and principles of a trusted Internet that is open, free, global, interoperable, reliable, and secure.
Our President and CEO, Andrew Sullivan, participated at workshop titled Preventing Internet shutdowns and platform-specific restrictions, that focused on a global Internet as one of the DFI principles.
