We’re longtime supporters of the IGF. We believe that the opportunities we can create from converging around common themes and bringing diverse stakeholders together, either in person or virtually, can help us combat the threats the Internet faces today.
We were at IGF:
- To provide the knowledge and skills needed to a new generation of Internet leaders to defend the Internet and empower them to take action.
- To advocate for an open, globally connected, trustworthy Internet for everyone by highlighting the current risks of the Internet becoming a splinternet.
- To defend the Internet against shutdowns by presenting the work of Internet Society Pulse on Internet Resiliency in Africa.
- To present our position on Low Earth Orbit Satellites (LEOs).
- To spotlight the important work that so many people around the globe, as part of the Internet Society community, are doing in all of these important fields.
- To show support to the IGF and its multistakeholder model in the context of the new Leadership Panel
Our IGF Youth Ambassador Program
We also selected 30 young, passionate people to participate in our IGF Youth Ambassador Program, equipping the next generation of Internet leaders to collaborate and innovate for a better world. Meet our fellows.
