It is an important moment to engage with the people who are shaping the ICT environment for the future. This year, in light of so many global challenges, we want to reach this influential audience with the message that the Internet continues to provide enormous benefit to people, economies, and our global society—and that if we don’t protect it now we could lose it forever.
We were at WSIS to:
- Talk about the need grow the Internet, and make it more resilient.
- Encourage the ICT community to do more to build and support the open, globally connected, trustworthy Internet for everyone.
- Showcase the important work that so many people around the globe, as part of the Internet Society community, are doing to achieve this goal.
