After careful consideration of the Jonathan B. Postel Service award nomination and selection processes, the decision was made to postpone the 2023 award for operational reasons.
The Internet Society, and the Nomination Committee are deeply committed to honoring Dr. Postel’s legacy and his work to make the Internet for everyone a possibility. We’re currently devoting our efforts to refining a strong and resilient decision-making process that will ensure that the individuals selected for this award reflect Dr. Postel’s values and his service to the Internet community.
The next round of the Jonathan B. Postel Service Award call for nominations will open in April 2024. Updates and information on next year’s award round will be published on the Postel Award webpage.
