Around the world, the Internet Society’s chapters work locally, regionally, and globally to keep the Internet a force for good: open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.
Our chapters organize training courses, build and operate community networks, campaign against harmful government policy proposals, protest against government-mandated Internet shutdowns, fight for access for marginalized communities, contribute to technical and infrastructure policy development, and help bring the unconnected online. They do all this as volunteers, some of them working in challenging and sometimes dangerous conditions. Our chapters can apply for grants from the Internet Society Foundation to support their activities, and with your donations, we can support even more of their work.
