I joined the Internet Society in February 2024 as Resource Director.
For over two decades, I have worked in the corporate sector with roles that ranged from recruiting to Global Operations. I spent a significant portion of that career working in the power industry, overseeing and working with teams and managing field engineers who provided the installation and maintenance of gas and steam turbines at power plants. This work took place in a myriad of countries across the world.
I have also worked with a medical technology company in the field of cancer care to ensure that the software they provided was upgraded to the most current and effective version for their customers. In each arena, resource management was an intricate part of my responsibilities. I have managed, at any given time, around eighty field engineers who would travel throughout the world to meet service-level agreements.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family. I have two children who are actively involved in sports, and they keep my wife and me busy. One is in college, and the other will graduate from high school this year. If we are not attending football, basketball, or softball games for our children, we try to travel to various locations to sightsee and eat local cuisine.
