Lishan Adam, is a researcher and consultant with extensive experience in ICT sector analysis in emerging economies. He specialises in broadband access, infrastructure development, policy and regulation, e-government systems and applications in sectors like health, education, agriculture and trade. Initially, he worked at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa as a programmer, trainer, network manager and a regional advisor. Dr. Adam served as a visiting Associate Professor at the Universities of Stellenbosch and University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and as a course convenor on telecommunication planning at University of West Indies. He is a member of Research ICT Africa Network (RIA).
