Robert is a Partner at Roha, an investment firm that builds companies in Africa. Roha launches new businesses by leading their development from origination to exit, focused on opportunities that address latent demand in local markets with world-class technology, business models, and partnerships.
Robert serves as President of the Raxio Group, Roha’s portfolio company focused on building and developing a network of Tier III, carrier-neutral data centers across the Africa. He also serves on the Board of Raxio Data Centre Ltd, Raxio’s first data center in Uganda, and Raxio Data Centre PLC, the data centre Raxio is developing in Ethiopia.
Previously, Robert was a Partner at Logispring, a transatlantic PE and VC firm from which he joined Confidex, a Logispring portfolio company where he served as CFO and Head of the Smart Mobility Business Unit, before selling the company to financial investors.
Robert holds an MSc. from the London School of Economics and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
