Róbert Kisteleki graduated as a program designer mathematician at ELTE in Hungary. Having an early interest in Internet commerce and information security aspects, he was involved in creating and eventually managing a Qualified Certification Authority service.
He joined RIPE NCC in 2006 to work early designs of the planned resource certification (RPKI) architecture and soon joined the company's research activities. Since 2008 he's been leading RIPE NCC's research and development team designing and providing services such as the RIPE Atlas measurement infrastructure or the RIPEstat information service for the whole Internet community.
He is a regular IETF participant mostly interested in security and measurement topics. He holds a CISSP certification and is a member of Mensa and ISOC.
