Susan Mort is a Legal Advisor with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Office of Native Affairs and Policy, focusing on wireless spectrum, infrastructure, public safety, and media issues relevant to Tribal governments and organizations. With nearly twenty years of experience in various aspects of communications law, Susan has also served as an Attorney Advisor in the FCC’s Media Bureau working on technology policy issues. Susan previously spent a decade in-house as regulatory counsel for Time Warner Inc, and has represented various service and content providers in private practice.
She received a Masters of Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and French Literature from Cornell University.
