Namra Naseer is a New York City-based consultant actively engaged in Venture Capital/Technology and International Affairs while pursuing an M.S. in Information and Knowledge Strategy at Columbia University. As a founding team member/Chief of Staff at Ivy E Labs, a startup accelerator, Namra is at the forefront of guiding aspiring student entrepreneurs in developing their businesses. She spearheads the onboarding, go-to-market strategy, product management, and program curation. In addition, Namra is also part of the executive team at Search+AI, a generative AI-based Information Retrieval Platform, where she plays a crucial role in establishing business strategy and steering the platform's growth across industries.
Namra's dedication to contributing to the evolving landscape of technology and connectivity led her to become the first female board member of Internet Society Islamabad and a representative at global forums such as IGF. Her journey continued with three consecutive fellowships at ICANN and involvement with the Non-commercial stakeholder group. Her commitment to shaping Internet policy is evident in her goal to lead from the front, representing the voices of both women and youth. As a proven leader, Namra is Vice President and Board Member of the Internet Society, New York Chapter, showcasing her commitment to advancing Internet governance.
In addition to her current experiences, Namra holds a Master of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Defence University. She has demonstrated expertise spanning over six years of international security policy and running Track II Activities in collaboration with the UN, UK, etc. Namra's career highlights include serving as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Henry L. Stimson Center in Washington, D.C., where she authored influential research articles on business, technology, and geopolitics.
She has been a fellow of the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Affairs and the World Bank Summit on Equitable Growth.
