I have been a part of the Internet Society since 2015, currently serving as the Senior Community Engagement Manager for Latin America. My role focuses on strengthening and developing local chapters and communities to promote and support Internet development. Working with our members has been a transformative experience, teaching me the power of collaboration and the limitless possibilities when we believe in ourselves and unite toward a common goal. Our volunteers are not just participants; they are changemakers, and together, we are creating a world full of opportunities and a better quality of life for all. Connection by connection, we are making a difference!
I am passionate about coaching, agility, and innovation. Before joining the Internet Society, I spent over 15 years in international companies, working as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Business Consultant, and University teacher.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Project Management, and a Master’s degree in Coaching and Organizational Leadership. I am also internationally certified in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Master, Agile Coach (ACPC), Scrum Master (SMC), Product Owner (SPOPC), Innovation Management (IMPC), Design Thinking (DTPC), Business Agility (BAPC), and Objectives and Key Results (OKR).
I am from Heredia, Costa Rica. In my free time, I love to dance, swim in open water, and spend time with my husband and daughter. Pura Vida!
